Clean-Cuts® hydraulic hose saws
Specialty Saw's Clean-Cuts® hose saws use a different cutting method from an abrasive wheel. The saw bends and stabilizes the hose as it feeds into a toothed knife that cuts with the backs of its teeth, so the knife takes no kerf. Bending the hose spreads the cut edges apart, which helps avoid burning and smoking. Specialty Saw sums up the result as cleaner cuts, safer cuts, and less smoke. The method also reduces internal contamination and airborne particulate in the hose shop.
A complete hose cutting system
Specialty Saw describes Clean-Cuts as a complete hydraulic hose cutting system with four parts:
- Hose saws in sizes from 7″ to 22″.
- Hydraulic hose blades and knives matched to different hose types, so a shop can balance cutting speed against blade life.
- Saw tables with heavy-duty, thick-walled construction and an adjustable cutting surface built for long industrial service.
- The Clean-Cuts Hose Tree, an expandable rack that organizes and dispenses hose as it's needed.
Together they're meant to give hose shops a cleaner workspace and a more efficient workflow.
Industrial saw blades
Specialty Saw also makes carbide and specialty saw blades from 4″ to 82″ and larger. They're used in high-capacity cutoff systems, robotic cutting cells, and primary metals operations, where steady cut quality and predictable blade life matter. The company also offers blade repair and sharpening and lifecycle management for blade programs.
Who uses Specialty Saw hose saws
Clean-Cuts equipment is built for hose shops of any size. Specialty Saw Inc. has made blades in Simsbury, Connecticut since 1952. It named Masski Industrial Sales the first agency in its “Million Dollar Club” for 2022 sales.
